Lilly Be'Soer Kolts is the founder of the women's human rights NGO, Voice for Change, in Papua New Guinea. She has been a victim of tribal conflict, and has taken a lead in facilitating mediation tribal conflicts and wars in Papua New Guinea. Here Lilly talks about the organization's work to counteract what she considers the norms of violence against women in Papa New Guinean society, though community reconciliation activities and empowerment training for women. Among the worst forms of violence in Papua New Guinea are the brutalizing and torture of women accused of sorcery, which is not uncommon; Lilly speaks here of her work to mobilize and help the rehabilitation of such women.

Lilly Besoer is the director of one of Oxfam's partner organisations in Papua New Guinea, Voice for Change, helping to end gender-based violence and support people who have been accused of practicing sorcery.
